Alhamdulillah, we have blessed to see another Ramadaan, and once again, Imaan Networking invites you to open your homes and host an Iftar for the Imaan Networking members.
According to Uzma Sattar, Chair of Imaan Networking the purpose of encouraging members to host and attend Iftars, is to Inshallah to increase our blessings, take the opportunity to share our experiences of the month but also offer support to each other.
"Many of us work in professional environments where we will be the only person fasting and although it feels lonely at the time especially as many of us are away from families it really isn't meant to be like that and we as individuals have the power to change that feeling either for ourselves or for others. Furthermore, by getting involved either as a host or a guest we strengthen ties within ourselves and in turn our communities", Uzma says.
To recall some sayings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) about this month:
"If a person gives a faster an iftar dinner, his sins are forgiven. He who gives water to a faster during this month will not be left thirsty in the Hereafter."
